| 内容記述 | [Purpose] To analyze the progress in, challenges of and factors behind achieving the socialization of long-term care through the long-term care insurance system, using a literature review, to look for a new direction for the socialization of long-term care. [Method] We collected literature in Japan with the keywords “long-term care” and “socialization” and analyzed 33 pieces of literature. [Results] While “improvement of long-term care services” and “awareness of the socialization of long-term care” have progressed, there remain challenges in “reducing the burden of long-term care on the family.”. In addition, in the development process of socialization, the limitations of the long-term care insurance system have been pointed out, and the position of the family and the transformation of the way of long-term care have been discussed. Following this process, the needs for family support have re-emerged and a system for family support has begun to be built. [Conclusion] Prompted by the system built for family support, the socialization of long-term care is expected to progress while expanding its scope to a variety of care activities other than long-term care for the elderly. | |||||||||||
