The Japanese Society of Nutrition and Dietetics completed the “Model Core Curriculums” in 2019, which should be shared in education for the training in each of ‘registered dietician’ and ‘dietitian’ institutions. The Model Core Curriculum has set out the educational objectives and learning goals for the specialty of the dietician training curriculum. This standard would enable us to effectively review and improve the curriculum, educational goals, syllabus, and learning content, et al. In this paper, we picked up some issues to be considered in the 'Food and Health Course' curriculum of our college, and discussed the implementation and examination of educational improvements based on the Model Core Curriculum. |
