内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the free answers of teaching evaluations by students and examine the significance and issues of class management from the teaching evaluations by students. This paper was analyzed by taking a sample of “Study in Moral Education Guidance,” which is a subject of the teacher training course in Nishikyushu University. This paper was tried to visualize free answers to “teacherʼs explanation” using a text mining method. The target students were a total of 34 students, including 19 in the epartment of Sports, Health and Welfare, five in the Department of Health and Nutrition, and 10 in the Department of Nursing, who attended the class of “Study in Moral Education Guidance”(a lecturer is Tsukasa Kawano). The survey period was the latter half of 2019 (September-January). In looking back at each class, we asked in a questionnaire, “Please tell us your thoughts and opinions about the teacherʼs explanation.” There were a total of 80 students who answered the open-ended responses (free answers). KHCoder 3 was used for the quantitative analysis of free nswers. Analyzing the free answers by students, we were able to divide them into six clusters: “humanity,” “understanding of the class,” “impression of the class,” “moral class,” “easy-to-understand class,” and “class attitude.” As a result of analysis by text mining, it was characteristic that the content related to “morality” was included due to the peculiarity of the “Study in Moral Education Guidance” class. Considering the four clusters of "humanity,” “understanding of the class,” “impression of the class,” and “moral class,” it can be presumed that this class affected students the ethical and moral development necessary to become teachers. |
