Childcare workers and facilities need to reflect on the childcare they provide from the two perspectives of how children are raised and optimal child- care and make evaluations based on their records. With this point in mind, the author has been provid- ing practical training on a method of recording observations that promotes teachersʼ understanding of the children in their class.
